ERP implementation cost in India
Read the guideIs there a yearly charge after the ERP goes live?
Yes, one charge that covers both hosting and support. For a custom business system it is ₹30,000–60,000 a year, depending on its size. It includes secure AWS hosting with backups, bug fixes, small changes and help when you need it.
Is there a per-user fee?
No. A Faxtor system has unlimited users. Adding people to your team does not change the hosting or support cost.
How much does a CRM cost in India?
A custom CRM from Faxtor costs ₹40,000–50,000 as a one-time build, plus ₹12,000 a year for hosting and support.
Can I start with a CRM and add ERP modules later?
Yes. Most clients start with the CRM, see the impact, and add inventory, finance and operations modules as they grow. It stays one system, so nothing is rebuilt.
Who owns the system and the data?
You do. Each client has a separate, dedicated database hosted on AWS, with role-based access so employees only see what their role needs. Unlike a subscription, you do not lose access to your data if you stop paying a vendor.
How long does ERP implementation take?
Most custom ERP projects go live in 8 to 16 weeks, module by module.
Is a custom ERP cheaper than a per-user subscription?
Over five years it usually is once your team grows. At an illustrative ₹1,000 per user per month, 20 users cost ₹12 lakh and 40 users cost ₹24 lakh, while a custom ERP at ₹3.5 lakh build plus ₹40,000 a year stays at about ₹5.5 lakh for either team size. A low-cost subscription can still be the right tool today if it covers everything you need and your team is small.
Is the first consultation free?
Yes. The discovery call is free with no obligation, and you come away with a clearer picture of your process even if we never work together.
ERP implementation timeline
Read the guideCan an ERP go live in less than 8 weeks?
Yes, if the scope is small. A CRM can go live in about 4 weeks, and a single process can often be automated faster. A full ERP across several departments usually needs 12 to 16 weeks.
Do all departments go live at the same time?
No. We go live module by module. Each department is trained and switched over when its module is ready, which lowers risk and gets parts of the business onto the system weeks earlier.
Do we have to stop work while data is migrated?
No. We agree a cut-over date in advance, move in your masters and opening balances, and the team switches from the old sheets to the new system on that date.
How involved does our team need to be?
The owner and department heads join discovery, review a working demo every two weeks, and make staff available for training at launch. One person who can make decisions keeps the project on schedule.
What do we need to prepare before the project starts?
Time with the owner and each department head for discovery, copies of the sheets and reports you use now, and one person on your side who can make decisions. It also helps to start tidying your customer, product and vendor lists early, so they are ready to move in at launch.
Can the ERP connect to Tally?
Yes. We can sync sales, purchases and payments with Tally, so your accountant keeps working as before while you get live dashboards.
Why do some ERP projects take a year or more?
Large off-the-shelf ERP rollouts often spend months adapting the business to the software and launch every department at once. Building around how you already work, on a proven core, and going live module by module keeps most projects within 8 to 16 weeks.
What happens after the ERP goes live?
We stay on for support, small changes and new reports, covered with hosting by one fixed yearly charge. New modules are added to the same system as the business grows.
How much does ERP implementation cost?
A custom ERP from Faxtor costs ₹2–8 lakh to build, plus one yearly charge of ₹30,000–60,000 for hosting and support. See the ERP implementation cost guide for the full breakdown.
