Material planning

Know what’s short before production starts.

Try it. Pick a product and an order quantity. The BOM is checked against live stock, shortfalls become a purchase indent or a work order, and the material cost per piece is worked out.

Job work & ITC-04

Every piece sent out, tracked until it comes back.

Material sent to job workers goes out on a challan and comes back in lots, with rejections recorded. Overdue challans are flagged, and ITC-04 is prepared from the same records. Pick a job worker.

Inputs sent for job work must come back within a year under GST, so long-pending challans are flagged well before that.

How we start

One area at a time, built around your factory.

Small factories can’t stop for a long software project. We set up the modules you need first, using your item codes, stages and documents, and add the rest as your team gets comfortable.

  1. Phase 01

    Start with what hurts most

Most factories begin with stores, purchase and sales orders. You see live stock and order status first, without changing how the floor works.

  2. Phase 02

    Add production and job work

Then BOM costing, work orders, shop-floor output, rejections and job work challans, rolled out one area at a time.

  3. Phase 03

    Close the loop

Dispatch, e-invoices, e-way bills, payment follow-up and owner dashboards that show the whole factory on one screen.

Common questions

Questions factory owners ask us

We already use Tally. Do we have to replace it?

Not necessarily. Faxtor can run orders, stores, production and job work while your accounts stay where they are. We discuss how the two should connect in the demo.

Does it handle e-invoicing and e-way bills?

Yes. Dispatch entries create GST invoices with e-invoice IRN and e-way bill details, for businesses that need them.

Can it track job work and prepare ITC-04?

Yes. Every job work challan is recorded with sent, returned, rejected and pending quantities, and ITC-04 is prepared from those records.

Will our operators be able to use it?

Operators only see what they need: their work orders and a few fields to log output, rejection and downtime, on a phone or tablet.

Can we see the cost of each product?

Yes. Cost per piece is worked out from the BOM at current purchase rates, with labour, job work and overheads added.

Can it follow up on customer payments?

Yes. Each invoice carries its payment term, and dues are tracked with reminders before and after the due date.

Do we have to roll out everything at once?

No. Most factories start with stores, purchase and sales orders, then add production, job work and dispatch.

What will it cost?

It depends on the modules you need and the size of your factory. After a discovery call we share a clear scope and a quote, with no obligation.
